ACB Raids 15 Hyderabad Locations Linked to Suspended Ex-Cop Bhujanga Rao

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, conducted simultaneous searches at approximately 15 locations in Hyderabad. The raids targeted properties linked to suspended former police officer Bhujanga Rao, who is under investigation over allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to official sources, the ACB teams carried out the searches at multiple properties, including the personal residences of Bhujanga Rao, as well as premises belonging to his relatives and family members. The operation spanned various sites across Hyderabad and other connected locations.
During the raids, ACB officials focused on gathering evidence to substantiate the disproportionate assets allegations. The investigative teams examined financial records, property documents, and other relevant materials at the searched premises.
Bhujanga Rao was previously suspended from his position by the State government due to his alleged involvement in a phone-tapping case. That suspension followed an official investigation into unauthorized surveillance activities conducted by police officials.
The simultaneous searches represent a significant advancement in the ongoing investigations involving the suspended former officer.
