ACB Arrests Jagtial Revenue Inspector M Rahul for Accepting Rs 30,000 Bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in Jagtial district arrested Revenue Inspector M Rahul after catching him while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 at his residence in Beerpur on Thursday.

According to ACB officials, Rahul had initially demanded Rs 50,000 from the complainant to conduct a land survey and issue an official report required for land registration and the issuance of a Pattadar Pass Book. The demand was subsequently reduced to Rs 40,000.

ACB officials laid a trap at Rahul's residence in Beerpur, where he was caught receiving the partial bribe amount of Rs 30,000.

The tainted cash was recovered from his possession by the investigating officers. Rahul was formally placed under arrest and produced before the ACB Special Court in Karimnagar District.
