Abbas Khan Becomes First Indian Showjumper to Receive Bharat Youth Award

Indian equestrian athlete Abbas Khan has been conferred the Bharat Youth Award in Dehradun, becoming the first Indian showjumper to receive the honour.

The award was presented by Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.), in recognition of Abbas's achievements in equestrian sport and his contribution to representing India on the international showjumping circuit.

At 21 years of age, Abbas Khan has established a track record as a young Indian athlete in the showjumping category. He has competed internationally and represented the country across prominent showjumping arenas abroad.
