4 Injured as Sound System Collapses at Yash Event in Medchal-Malkajgiri

Four people, including a student, were injured on Saturday night when a sound box system collapsed during a promotional pre-release event for actor Yash's upcoming film at Malla Reddy University in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

A large gathering of fans had assembled at the university venue to see the actor and members of the film's team. According to police, several attendees climbed onto a flying DJ speaker stand to get a better view of the stage.

The structure lost balance and collapsed, causing four people to fall to the ground. All four injured individuals were moved to a nearby hospital for treatment. A senior police official confirmed that one student suffered a leg fracture, while three others sustained minor injuries.

Yash was addressing the crowd when the structure gave way. The actor paused his speech upon seeing the incident, asking the audience to check on those who had fallen and ensure everyone was safe. He resumed his address after asking another group of attendees to step down from an elevated structure.

Police have registered a case against the management of the educational institution and the event manager in connection with the incident.
