26-Year-Old Woman Killed After Speeding Car Hits Her Near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur

A 26-year-old woman died after being hit by a speeding car while crossing the road near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur on Monday.

The victim, identified as Bharathi Mukhi (26), had gone towards the vicinity of ITC Kohinoor around 3 p.m. with her colleague Pooja Ashok (26) to bring lunch. While returning to Inorbit Mall, Bharathi was crossing the road in front of the mall when a car struck her.

Police said the car was allegedly driven at high speed and in a negligent manner by a person named Sanjush. The impact caused severe bleeding injuries to Bharathi's head.

She was immediately shifted to a hospital in the same vehicle that hit her. However, doctors who examined her upon arrival declared that she had already died.

Following the incident, the Madhapur police registered a case based on a complaint.
