26-Year-Old Woman Dies After Speeding Car Hits Her Near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur

A 26-year-old woman died after being struck by a speeding car while crossing the road near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur on Monday.

The victim was identified as Bharathi Mukhi, aged 26. According to the police, she was hit while attempting to cross the road in front of the mall by a vehicle that was allegedly being driven at high speed and in a negligent manner.

Investigators stated that Bharathi and her colleague, identified as 26-year-old Pooja Ashok, had stepped out around 3 p.m. to fetch lunch in the vicinity of ITC Kohinoor. The incident occurred while they were returning to Inorbit Mall.

As Bharathi was crossing the road directly in front of the shopping mall, the car allegedly driven by an individual named Sanjush hit her. The impact caused her to sustain severe bleeding injuries to her head.

Following the collision, she was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital in the same vehicle that hit her. However, medical personnel who examined her upon arrival declared that she had already succumbed to her injuries.

Following the incident, the Madhapur police registered a case based on a complaint and initiated further legal proceedings into the matter.
