25-Year-Old Dies, Two Injured After Bike Skids in Khajaguda

A 25-year-old man died and two others were seriously injured after their motorcycle skidded and crashed while negotiating a curve near the Engineering Staff College in Khajaguda on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Abbas Siddiq, who was travelling as a pillion rider on the two-wheeler. The two injured persons were identified as Sahasra Chattopadhyay and Abhijith Singh. According to the Raidurgam police, all three individuals involved in the accident are natives of West Bengal.
Police officials stated that the trio was travelling together on the motorcycle, heading from Khajaguda towards Anjayya Nagar. The incident occurred near the ESI second gate as the motorcycle was attempting to make a right turn towards the Care Hospital main road.
According to the Raidurgam police, Sahasra was operating the motorcycle, while Abhijith was seated as the middle pillion rider and Abbas was on the rear. The rider allegedly lost control of the motorcycle while attempting to negotiate the turn due to excessive speed, leading the vehicle to skid and crash heavily.
Abbas sustained fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. The rider, Sahasra, and the middle passenger, Abhijith, sustained serious injuries and were subsequently shifted to Care Hospital for medical treatment.
