25-Year-Old Armed Reserve Constable Dies by Suicide in Amberpet

A 25-year-old Armed Reserve constable died by suicide at his residence in the Tirumalanagar area of Amberpet on Sunday, allegedly following a failed love affair.

The deceased was identified as Nibhash, an Armed Reserve (AR) constable posted at Petlaburj. According to police, he had been in a relationship with a young woman, but her family members had reportedly opposed their marriage.

Amberpet Inspector Kiran Kumar said that Nibhash had sent WhatsApp messages to some of his friends informing them that he was going to take the extreme step. Alarmed by the texts, his friends immediately alerted the authorities.

However, by the time police and friends reached his house, Nibhash was found hanging from a ceiling fan with a saree.

The Amberpet Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the constable's death.
