24-Year-Old NEET-PG Aspirant Dies by Suicide at RTC Cross Roads Hostel

A 24-year-old MBBS graduate preparing for the NEET-PG entrance examination allegedly died by suicide at a hostel in RTC Cross Roads on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Yashwita, who hailed from Kurnool and was the only daughter of a prominent businessman there. She had been residing at the hostel and preparing for the competitive medical entrance examination in Hyderabad for the past six months.
According to preliminary reports, Yashwita consumed a poisonous substance inside her hostel premises. Police suspect that severe stress related to her examination preparation might have prompted her to take the extreme step.
Following the incident, local police registered a case and initiated a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
