24-Hour Water Supply Disruption to Hit Parts of Hyderabad on August 17 and 18

Drinking water supply across multiple Hyderabad neighbourhoods, including Banjara Hills, Ameerpet, Chandanagar, and KPHB Colony, is likely to be disrupted for 24 hours starting from 10 am on August 17, 2026, to 10 am on August 18, 2026.
The disruption is required to facilitate major maintenance and interconnection works at the Singur project and the Phase-IV Pump House situated at the Peddapur Campus.
The maintenance schedule involves junction works on the 1,600-mm-diameter pumping main at the Singur project, interconnection of MS and PSC pipes with the 2,000-mm-diameter gravity main, and the replacement of multiple valves at the Phase-IV Pump House at Peddapur Campus.
Several residential and commercial localities are expected to experience water supply interruptions during the 24-hour window. The affected areas include BHEL, MIG-I, MIG-II, Rail Vihar, Chandanagar, Indian School of Business, KPHB Colony and adjoining pockets, Shaikpet, Kokapet, Manikonda, Narsingi, Gayatrinagar, Borabanda, ESI, SR Nagar, Erragadda, and Yellareddyguda.
Water supply will also be impacted in Ameerpet, Vengal Rao Nagar, Sanathnagar, NIMS, Banjara Hills, Tattikhana, Somajiguda, BS Maqta, MS Maqta Kondapur, Adityanagar, Premnagar, Hafeezpet, Mayurinagar, Gokul Plots, Malaysian Township, Hydernagar, Reddy’s Labs, IDA, Bollaram, and other neighbouring areas.
