Drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours starting from 10 am on Saturday, August 29, across several parts of Hyderabad, including Gachibowli, Madhapur, and parts of Jubilee Hills.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is halting the supply to facilitate the construction of a box drain at the Bandlaguda crossroads. The work is being carried out as part of the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-III, Ring Main-I pipeline network.

Apart from Gachibowli, the shutdown will impact several surrounding and neighbouring localities. The affected areas include Prashasannagar in Jubilee Hills, as well as Shaikpet, Shastripuram, Kismatpur, and Bandlaguda.

Other areas listed for the 24-hour supply halt include Bhojagutta, Shamshabad, Madhuban, Durganagar, Suleman Nagar, Attapur, and Gandhamguda.

Water supply in all the affected zones is expected to resume following the completion of the 24-hour maintenance window and related pipeline construction work.
