21-Year-Old Nurse Found Dead with Facial Injuries in Pahadishareef

A 21-year-old nurse was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a room in the Pahadishareef area of Hyderabad on Saturday, with police suspecting she may have been assaulted by unidentified persons.
The deceased was identified as Vuke Shirisha, who worked as a nurse at Prime Care Hospital in Thukkuguda. She resided in the hospital's residential quarters alongside her friends, according to the Shamshabad Police.
Shirisha was a native of Chowtigudem village in the Mulakalapalli mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. She had relocated to Hyderabad approximately seven months ago along with her friend, 21-year-old Kaka Sarika, who also worked as a nurse at Prime Care Hospital.
According to Shamshabad Police, Sarika contacted the complainant at around 2:30 pm on Saturday to report that Shirisha had not emerged from her room since the morning. Repeated knocking on the door yielded no response.
Shirisha's friends subsequently gained entry to the room through a window. Upon entering, they discovered her lying dead with bleeding injuries visible on her face. The complainant then arrived at the location and witnessed the body, following which police were alerted.
