A 21-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by three of his friends following an argument over a financial dispute in Bandlaguda Jagir, Rajendranagar, on Monday night.

The victim was identified as Aniket Kumar, a native of Bihar. According to the police, Kumar and his three friends—identified as Rohit, Rahul, and Ankit Kumar, who are also from Bihar—had been working near the Reverse Skate Villas site located in Bandlaguda Jagir.

After finishing their work for the day on Monday night, the four men returned to their shared accommodation and consumed alcohol. While drinking, an argument broke out between Aniket and Rohit concerning a financial matter.

As the confrontation escalated, Rohit reportedly lost his temper and attacked Aniket on the head with an iron rod. The other two associates, Rahul and Ankit, also allegedly joined in the assault and beat Aniket.

Following the attack, Aniket sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby private hospital for medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on Tuesday.

The Rajendranagar police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the fatal assault. Police officials stated that efforts are underway to trace and apprehend all three suspects who fled the scene following the incident.
