20-Year-Old Nurse Dies After Falling Under Train at Moula Ali

A 20-year-old nurse died on Sunday after accidentally falling under a moving train while attempting to deboard at the Moula Ali railway station in Hyderabad.

The victim was identified as Manepally Manasa, a native of Jangaon district who was residing in Moula Ali HB Colony. The incident occurred while she was travelling with her father and returning to their residence in the city.

According to officials, Manasa slipped while alighting from the Golconda Express at the station. As she fell onto the tracks, she was struck by the Vande Bharat Express, which was heading towards Visakhapatnam.

Railway police reported that Manasa had been employed at a private hospital in Hyderabad for the past seven months.

Following the incident, the Government Railway Police (GRP) Secunderabad registered a case of suspicious death. The victim's body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

The family members later collected the body on Sunday evening and transported it to her native place in Jangaon district to perform the final rites.
