17-Year-Old Girl Dies After Speeding Lorry Hits Motorcycle Near Ghatkesar

A 17-year-old girl died and her parents sustained injuries after a speeding lorry collided with their motorcycle near Ghatkesar on the Warangal-Hyderabad highway on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Sravani. According to reports, she was travelling on the motorcycle with her parents, Suresh and Uma, when the speeding lorry allegedly struck their vehicle.

Sravani died on the spot due to the impact of the crash, while her parents suffered injuries.

Police arrived at the scene and registered a case regarding the accident. The injured parents were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The lorry driver reportedly abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene immediately after the collision. Police have launched an investigation to trace the whereabouts of the absconding driver.
