17 Hyderabad Hospitals Set Up Employee Mitra Desks for State Health Scheme

Specialised 'Employee Mitra' helpdesks are being set up at 17 super-specialty hospitals across Hyderabad to assist Telangana government employees, pensioners, and their dependents in accessing healthcare services under the State’s New Employee Health Scheme (NEHS).

Rajiv Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust Chief Executive Officer Zendage Hanumant Kondiba announced the initiative on Tuesday, August 25, during the formal launch of an 'Employee Mitra' helpdesk at Continental Hospitals.

The dedicated helpdesks are designed to offer beneficiaries seamless access to information regarding available treatments and medical services under the NEHS network. Through these counters, employees and pensioners can obtain specific details regarding eligible medical services, treatment procedures, and the comprehensive care covered under the state scheme.

Continental Hospitals was recently included under the NEHS network, allowing eligible state government staff, pensioners, and their dependent family members to receive cashless medical and surgical treatments at the facility.

In addition to the physical helpdesks stationed across the 17 hospitals in the city, beneficiaries can also seek assistance and information regarding the health scheme by dialing the dedicated 104 helpline.
