16-Year-Old Intermediate Student Killed After Speeding Truck Hits Scooter Near Ghatkesar

A 16-year-old intermediate student died in a road accident near Vandana Hotel under the Ghatkesar police station limits on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Shravani, was riding pillion on a scooter with her father, Suresh, and mother, Uma. The family, residing in Warasiguda, was travelling when a speeding truck rammed their two-wheeler from behind.

The severe impact of the collision threw all three family members onto the road. The truck subsequently ran over Shravani, resulting in her death on the spot.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Ghatkesar police arrived at the scene. Police officials have taken up the case and initiated an investigation into the accident.
